PUCCI, sorry I have no idea, it’s a new toy for me too.
CAT is more often associated with frontal boundaries and the margins of Jetstreams (slightly above the jet core and on the left hand side (northern hemisphere) if you are looking in the direction of motion). However, it is notoriously difficult to forecast accurately.
As I delve a little bit more into it I’ll report back if I find anything useful
