If all else is equal, I would suggest booking with QR if flying on QR - in case of disruptions, it can be easier dealing directly with the operating carrier rather than being passed back to the issuing carrier[/QUOTE]

Unless the "other" carrier is QR. I find AA SO MUCH EASIER to deal with than QR when changes necessitate speaking with an airline before departure. I book 4-5 rt QR flights per year on AA.com, often bc it is much cheaper. Having AA make changes to the ticket has always been easy and haven't had a problem they could help with. QR on the other hand....
