Any recent reviews? I have a booking for five nights in April. A few of these reviews make me question this decision... noise, room quality, aircon, etc. I'm okay with using Central for transport and also have a reservation at the Moxy Stratford (just two stops from BG). Neither are ideal but I simply can't convince myself to spend the absurd rates for central London (especially on points).
Had a recent stay some weeks back. You can feel that the property is aging, but its still in a good shape. We got upgraded to 1 BR Suite on the Ground floor. Windows are not isolated well, so it got really cold in the room. Location looks so-so, but its only 3 minutes walk to the Central Line and 10min to Bank.
