Oh, well. Looks like this ends Dec 31. My outbound will count, will have to sadly post my inbound to BA. Those avios are useless because of the fees. No more XP from JAL starting Jan 01, 2024.
I was looking into this (earning XP and miles for FB on JL flights), as friends of mine have the following flights coming up: SYD JL HND JL DFW. Part of a DONE5, so flights are in business booked in D-class. It looks like this didn;t end Dec. 31st 2023 but will end now April 1st 2024.
They have currently a BA frequent flyer number in their booking, should the agent change it to their KL/FB number? They are also flying QF: JNB QF SYD QF MEL QF ASP QF SYD, all before April 1st
If i calculate correctly, it should earn them 36 + 6 +6 +6 =54 XP for the QF flights and 30 (SYD to HND is less than 5000 miles) + 36 = 66 XP for the JL flights. Can somebody confirm this? Thanks
