C is nice enough, but also suffers from the fundamental poor design of the airport in terms of traffic flow. Traffic would back up even before construction started as a backup on C percolated back to D, E etc.

For the amount of money being thrown into rebuilding these concourses, they aren't addressing the underlying issue, nor building with an eye for the future. Redoing the terminals will cost more than 60% of what it took to completely rebuild LGA; starting with a midfield concourse design at the end and adding concourses over time would increase passenger and ramp capacity. Instead, when they're done in 3-4 years, they'll need to start expansion again.

IAH's saving grace is that EWR exists. Fortunately, as an OW flyer, I can go to Hobby.
