UA metal on Air New Zealand codeshare; how is this viewed for GS qualification?

Somewhat obscure question that may not have a clear answer, but I figured I'd ask. I currently booking a flight AKL-BOS, on UA metal both AKL-SFO and SFO-BOS. It is pricing out significantly less expensive as an ANZ code share vs. straight UA ticket. If I credit the flight to Mileage Plus, I realize I won't get full credit for the spend but rather something based on multiples of miles, but does anyone know if the flight would be considered when looking at spend for GS qualification? Thanks in advance for any thoughts/comments...
