stefang - happened to me, don't worry - my account was suspended because I changed my email address and password on the account in quick succession and it (rightfully so) looked suspicious. I contacted customer service by telephone and in very short order, I received a response with a solution.

In your case, just contact customer service - remove the emotion/backstory, just state your account has been suspended due to suspicious activity and you would like to reactivate your account. I have sent you the Accor email address and telephone number I used via DM - hopefully these are helpful to you.

You will have to send some ID to Accor but if you do not want to do that, you can ask Accor to agree to you going into a hotel and getting the hotel manager to contact Accor to verify you exist.

Be prepared for some very blank stares and allow time to explain however as verifying in person is not a common procedure.

I was actually impressed with Accor's quick response to strange account activity.
