Yes but Transport Canada is its own agency, not a arm of the FAA
So we need to worry about what TC does, not the FAA.
As Rangers has said if the FAA finds problems with Boeing as they type certify it no other Regulator is going to allow that. Other Regulators like EASA may decide to be more stringent but they sure are not going to be less stringent than the regulator of the manufacturer.
