The base fare, which looks like £20 - it will be on the e-ticket email
The POUG / AUP amount, again per person.

Mennens is worked on the cash you spend, it's just you have to allow BA to have any government and airport taxes that are required for the journey taken. It is also pro-rata for the total distance.
Sorry for any confusion - the booking was originally LHR-BOS on AA, returning BOS-LHR on BA in economy. The downgrade occurred on the return leg when I was re-routed via MAD back to LHR on IB.

I still need some help I'm afraid as I'm a newbie when trying to decipher the fare pricing calculations!

To answer your questions (for one passenger):
- Total spent by me: £572.61 plus £150 POUG = £722.61. No Avios involved.
- YQ component from the ticket receipt (which again I'm not sure relates to my original ticket; was issued when I made the POUG): £20 plus £200 (the latter reconciles to the "carrier imposed charge" on the original ticket) = £220.
- Base fare: original ticket receipt was £174; receipt after POUG shows £304. (I am quoting the "fare" shown on the receipt.)
- POUG: £150 per person.

Is the reimbursement under Mennens therefore 75% * (£304 (base fare) - £220 (surcharges)) = £63?

Or -- If the £304 base fare and £220 surcharges is for both legs, since only one leg was downgraded is the calc then 75% * (50% * (304-220)) = £42?

Again thank you for your help.
