Actually, the entire brand new Terminal A is underwhelming.
I quite liked the new terminal at EWR. Nice, bright and open. The only thing that I don't like is the long walk to nowhere to the AC gates.

I think UA has done a pretty decent re-do of their lounges (I went to the new one in DEN this past week) and really have no issues relaxing there for a few.
