3 crew on a flight is not that rare. I have been on several with 3. Sometimes it is a training issue.....such as new senior cabin crew getting his or her sign off at the new level
In about 50 + plus CF flights I’ve only seen it once before (training IIRC ) - LHR only more crew when there was a IBM/ H&S assessor onboard.
Besides with that and a new seat map appearing on BA.com I’m resigned to the fact that LCY is about to become less comfortable than before. (I’m sure raffles mentioned new LCY seats were displayed at at a LHR T5 media event in winter)
