I’ve visited the *A many times from T7. My experience is that I’ve taken exactly the same time walking in either direction. As was pointed out, the walk should take about 30 minutes.
TBIT also has a Centurion Lounge, which is always crowded. Of all the lounges you’ll pass on this safari (Polaris, United Club, Maple Leaf Lounge, CL and *A), the Polaris Lounge is the best. It’s usually not too crowded.
