Note that Delta recently stopped allowing cancelations for eCredit within 1-2 days of buying a ticket. It always goes to the original form of payment. This means that each "buy then cancel for eCredit" step takes around 2 days.

Thanks for tip. You mentioned canceling always goes to original form of payment so after 2 days do I get ecredit or credit on original payment?
