At some other full-service brands (including Sheraton, Westin, and resorts in Autograph Collection), daily breakfast for two in the restaurant is a Platinum Elite (and above) Welcome Gift that the member can choose.

At still other full-service brands (including Gaylord, Marriott Vacation Club, and Design Hotels), there is no elite breakfast benefit.

Members have two choices in how to deal with this. We can take ten minutes to educate ourselves, or we can let ourselves be surprised when we check in. I prefer the former, so I can make this a factor when I pick hotels.
10 minutes? You're a heckuva a lot smarter than I am. I can't remember all the rules by brand and region and city/resort.
