Different issue, similar problem?
* Award (J) booking on qatar airways.com
* Email, and Manage Booking says confirmed
* Ticket number received, and emailed
* Seats assigned
* No avios deducted
* No payment on credit card
Calling up they said "double payment, system rejected, so please make a new booking". "The ticket number is invalid". But this isn't true.
I'm really nervous to give up these seats and try to rebook! And trying a phantom cash booking shows seats I'm assigned unavailable).
Obviously 2x J seats on QR are gold. Trying to escalate. Any other advice to not lose this flight to our mates' wedding?
[I then got the "can I call you right back" response, with no call back]. Booking still looks intact?!
