Hey flyers,

I have an overseas trip this summer and I read the terms in the Aspire in regard to the airline credit: " To be eligible for this benefit, an airfare purchase must be for a scheduled flight on a passenger carrier and purchased directly from the airline or through amextravel. ​"

My questions are:
1) Will purchasing tickets from VietJet or AirAsia get reimburse (directly from their site)
2) Since amextravel portal wont allow more than one source of payment, Will purchases via chat or calling in trigger this ?

This credit is relatively new, and there's limited data available, which makes me understand the situation with option 1. However, I would appreciate it if anyone has experience making multiple payments through the AmexTravel portal, whether via chat or call-in.
