I called the AA RTW desk the other day. I had a chat about booking out of TYO and havin a trans ocean on AA. She said this is not absolute but sometimes enforced.and as an EXP they may make an exception. I am also looking at DONEX out of TYO. The only thing about originating in TYO you miss out on a lot of the Asian +3K segments . Still you can get a DONE4 to yield 210K LPs fairly easy.
