As reference, Mrs SHT88T just got 80,000 Avios for a broken Club Suite seat on an overnight from JFK last month.
Additional 15000 because the IFE wasn’t fully functioning. Handheld controller not working and the touch screen intermittently unresponsive.
Complaint logged on board by IFM who was very apologetic and provided a First amenity kit as a token. Seat was manually adjusted to an acceptable position and IFE restarted three times.
We are delighted with 95,000 Avios. BHD-LHR-JFK-LHR-BHD for a net total now of 35,000 Avios plus tax & a 2-4-1 for two. Excellent value for money for us 🤣
Ps. It feels appropriate to add that I offered to take the broken seat but Mrs SHT88T was suffering from very sore sinuses, wasn’t likely to get a good sleep anyway and couldn’t be bothered moving. With a 3 year old daughter to attend to on return it was decided that I should sleep/assume full childcare duties when we got home while the and OH would rest.
