Just a mildly entertaining tale. I've been wondering, why does ITA use the Delta lounge in Miami when it closes 80 minutes before the flight departs? Because Daylight Savings.

Normally it closes 20 minutes before. But the US goes into daylight savings three weeks before Europe, and ITA keeps the flight schedule unchanged from a Europe perspective. So for those three weeks, no useful lounge in Miami.
