Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco Airport/Burlingame Trip Reports and Reviews

Hi,

HGI SFO South/Burlingame
1 night
Jan 1 2005
Rate $69
Room 427
HH Diamond

I arrived at around 3pm after my VS flight from London. The shuttle service was quick and took around 10mins from SFO ( dropped off at the DT first)

I was checked in quickly and given a coupon for breakfast
( No water, no coupon for pantry discount and no upgrade)

The drinks cabinet in the pantry looked a little understocked.
The room on the 4th floor ( 6 floors) was typical HGI.

Fitness centre was good but the pool was small ( and square)

A 50th birthday party was taking place in one of the meeting rooms that evening.

I had dinner in the Grill room ( good value for money and quickly served)

Business centre free with reasonable speed on the pc.

Room was quiet enough but the a/c slightly noisy.

Breakfast started at 6am and had a quick continental buffet selection which was good ( caught the 6:20am shuttle for an 8:45am AA flight to HNL)

Overall slightly disapointed in the treatment as a Diamond and prefered the HGI San Mateo.

If I had not the early flight the next morinig I would have gone for the San Mateo ( but the shuttle is only hourly I think).

Still not bad for $69 ( S Mateo was$79)

Regards
