Early check-in fees don't bother me at all. After a long overnight flight if I'm arriving several hours before check-in I have two choices. I can drop my bags at the hotel and aimlessly wander the city on little or no sleep or I can open my wallet, check in early and have a shower and a nap. Option 2 is money well spent.
