My wife and I are flying from YYZ to IST on TK in J within the coming week. We are members of Aeroplan but not Miles and Smiles. We are paying cash for these flights. When making the booking I was able to add my Aeroplan # to the booking but for some reason it would not accept my wife's Aeroplan #. Since then I have twice called the TK reservation line and asked them to add my wife's number to the reservation and twice I was told that they have added it. My problem is that my wife's Aeroplan number does not show up when I enter our flight booking via Manage Your Booking page. It still has her listed as having no frequent flyer affiliation. I know that this may just be a glitch in their system (another one of many I've seen documented on this site) so my question is should I trust the TK reps when they say they have added the number or should I try again. I'd hate to miss out on those frequent flyer points. And if they have not added the number is it possible to get those points added to her Aeroplan account after the fact. Thanks for your help.
