For me everything works perfectly fine. It's much better now with the new iOS app as well. I used to have to use my laptop to order stuff via the Avios shopping portal, but the app now works on mobile which is great.
I've gotten a fair bit of Avios that way, especially by using the promotions appropriately
The old app was so bad I never used it, but I might give it a go since I'm having assorted issues with the desktop option.
