I have some SWU's that are going to expire, so I'm thinking of taking a joyride to London. The website says that I can use SWU's. Question 1: Is there a difference between upgrading from Basic Economy to Biz and from Main Cabin to Biz? BE is $180 less. Second, the upgrade is only available on LAX-LHR, not LAS-LAX. If I have an economy seat from LAS-LAX, do I still get the same baggage benefits as though I'm in biz? I'm also EXP now, dropping to PP next year, do those benefits supercede the BE "No free bags?"
