For the SFO - DXB route, which option would be better?
1) EK Premium Economy - non-stop ~ 15h 45m flying time
2) UA / LH Premium Economy - with a stopover in Munich - 16h 25m flying time + 6h connection time. Multiple options with both legs LH or UA + LH.

This is for work and allows only Premium Economy. I fly mostly J for long-haul personal travel.
I am considering the 2nd option so I don't have to sit such a long EK flight at a stretch. Is EK Premium Economy significantly better?
I have flown EK, United and Lufthansa Premium Economy, Emirates is the best and most comfortable in my opinion. I was just on the Newark-DXB flight with United in Premium economy and thought it was decent, better than Lufthansa if my memory is correct but not quite as good as EK.
