Just received this email for BA107. Clearly expecting a heavy delay over and above the 1 hour estimate as they have even pushed back the check-in closure time by one hour. Third time I have had this "operational constraints" excuse in the space of a few months. I can see the incoming plane is landing early so what's the reason for the delay - lack of staff?
I suspect lack of staff is the most likely reason, though it could be a minor tech issue (e.g. a toilet not working) which they think they can fix in an hour or two.
