While it's not technically a delay in my arrival, it adds considerable challenge. Whether an agent would find sympathy accommodating a family is I guess the question. Or maybe more pertinent, whether they are even empowered to make a change in award flight without having to cancel the whole thing.
That said, does anyone have experience calling US or Paris call center providing more helpful assistance?
