Additionally, naming of locations on BAH can sometimes be a city, sometimes a region, sometimes a precision alongside a city (e.g. Bologna region in addition to Bologna, etc).
In the specific case you are looking for, it is actually possible to enter "Alsace Lorraine" which would include Strasbourg, however, for the dates I looked at least, this didn't return any result.
Thanks for checking. Yes, BAH coverage isn’t stellar. NYC as example: I’ll look if the hotels I want are available, but often not. Hilton Midtown, Hyatt Grand Central or The Plaza? No thanks. Palma de Majorca last Easter was even worse, they didn’t have any of the boutique 5*s in Palma itself.
Anyway, I’ll climb off my snobby horse and go and book the Ibis Strasbourg 😁. V tempted for the Cour du Corbeau, it’s really not much extra. I’m trying to do a ‘cheap’ (for me) weekend, we’ll see how that goes. Will still be in Club obvs 😁
