AC has booted people for less (visiting a lounge allegedly not intending to fly, then needing an escort). Even witbout any false declararion to US or Canadian officers
Who said I was going to make any false declarations? I fully intend to say that I am crossing the border for the sole purpose of doing the US interview. I don't think that CBSA or CBP has any interest in Air Canada's ticketing policy.
I have no planned air travel to the US but I am considering a number of border crossings by car in the next few months. The closest land border office to me is in Champlain, NY which is a 4 hour drive. I happen to be in Toronto tomorrow with a relatively clear schedule. I know that my Nexus is still valid for 5 years even without the US interview but I just want to get the renewal finalized. I did the Canadian interview a few months ago with no issues.
