Found a short video of a wifi install on a Southwest 737. After watching how extensive it is I could see how removing the plug would facilitate in the install.

In addition, I included the photo of the N704 AL and you can clearly see the wifi pod on top of the fuselage almost directly over the plug location. Doesn't that contradict what the vendor stated of not being near the plug location? Regardless, I know that removing the plug would have nothing to do with the loose bolts on the other planes inspected. However, could it have contributed, along with the install of the wifi pod on top, to the decompression of the plane, especially since the return to Alaska was the same date of the first sensor warning on December 7th. Did the other planes with loose bolts go through wifi installs? Curious to know if there is a seal test of the fuselage after an extensive modification.
