Unlike normal AA instrument upgrades, Business Extra upgrades do/did not require a ticket reissue. As such, after applying a BXP1 or BXP3, the question of one's ticketed cabin is fuzzy. The ticketed cabin per se is Y, but the BXP1 or BXP3 cert is usually attached to the PNR as "payment" for the upgrade in a way that doesn't require a ticket reissue.
