LAX FFD is still not open, but some reports of QF F lounge allowing departing transcon domestic AA flights access on that thread.
You do seem very excited about this, but I'm not sure it can truly be defined as a "huge plus" unless/until they define how many miles are required. That is kinda key
Furthermore, if the pricing is too aggressive my guess is that the FFD experience, like so many other travel experiences, is likely to get watered down and you will find it much less enjoyable/relaxing because the FFD will be overrun with people cashing in their miles for the "experience." On the flip side, if they price it high, then it just might not be worth it unless you are someone that is "miles rich" which of course might likely be true of most CKs (though I still suspect many would rather get value for miles with premium tickets for family members than for FFD)
I mean, I agree it's probably a net positive change, but I'm not sure it's as big a deal as you are making it out to be...
