There used to be a unit based in Lyon but I believe they have closed a long time ago. I'm also not aware of BA CR using whatsapp. I'd proceed with caution - as much as people think complaining publicly on X is a panacea here and elsewhere on the web, "public" is precisely the operative word and it opens the door to risks of easy external interference, especially when it comes to conversation where one could understandably ask for your personal details or your bank account details to pay you compensation...
