Can't help you with that comparison. I kind of geeked out on AIs and from what I can tell, this is about the only Hilton that doesn't charge extra for having more people in the room. It's kind of cool - but I imagine they'll "fix" it at some point.
The only other AI we did was the Ziva Cancun, when the Hyatt card came with a couple cat 1-7 FNCs. I would like to go back to a Hyatt AI, but I can't bring myself to pay literally double for my kids, who certainly won't be drinking and won't be eating much, either. It's absurd. I think a bit of an upcharge might be reasonable, but what kid eats $100 per day? I don't know why they can't be reasonable, something like $50 would be annoying but Hyatt's current approach is just extortionate.
Back to the Hilton. To compare this with the Ziva: the beach is better at the Ziva - tbh I didn't think that beach was so great (the IC Cancun was much better). But the beach at this hotel is worse. The drinks were tasty but watered down. I had read horror stories of people being unable to call the front desk, or unable to get towels - we experienced none of that. I will say, it was a bit spotty at times. Like, they would take towels but not replace them (or not replace with the same number). Service around the pool was usually ok but sometimes nonexistent. One dinner seemed to take a long time. It wasn't consistently bad, it was just randomly weak.
I didn't mind 100K per night for the week between Christmas and New Years, cash prices were in the 1k range, and they did a pretty nice job with NYE. I'm not sure I'd feel the same at other points in the year.
