I have a reward booking and submitted a request to upgrade when I booked. I am not able to modify the upgrade request, the option to change booking is greyed out and when I try and select seats, it just spins on loading the seat map. Based on Cowtool, the upgrade has cleared but I can’t do much with the booking and I just want to select seats. Is this something that AC would need to look at? Any similar experiences would be appreciated.
I have had a similar experience for my most recent upgrade that silently cleared. I can’t remember whether the flight change was greyed out but both cowtool and the aircanada booking showed that the upgrade was confirmed however the seat map never loaded when I tried to select a seat. Every time I have had this happen I have been able to call in and an agent can select a seat with no issue. A good data point is that I have never had this when there has been R space at the time of booking and my upgrade clears immediately if that’s the case my bookings have seemed normal and I could select seats online.
