We're booked I class (J cabin) SFO - ORD - MAN on AA, MAN - BRU on SN Brussels (AA codeshare) later this month.

1) It sounds like we will be issued seats at SFO, and bags woud be checked all the way through to BRU (though we do shorter trips with carry-ons only, meaning SN will likely take them and put them in the belly of the a/c for being oversize on SN.)

2) Can anyone enlighten me on the transfer drill at Manchester from AA to SN? I'll guess a transfer desk and process, but what about things like terminal changes, etc.? Any lounges (we've almost 3 hours between flights, in the morning; both AA EXP / ow Emerald, in J cabin, Diners...)
