How easy is it to get around Nusa Penida? Are taxis common? Are there alot of places that take taxis? With the ferries, do they accept/handle luggage?

Also, which part of Nusa Penida do you recommend more the West Side or the East Side? How do you compare Nusa Penida to the "mainland" Bali?
