Has anyone been here with young kids? Is it frowned upon?

Considering booking a suite for 6 nights with our one year old. Mainly looking to lounge by the pool with good food and good views. Obviously would be in the room a decent amount for naps and such.

Read a few reviews about there being a recommended nanny that I would probably use for a few dinners and maybe a boat day.

Debating between here and Papagayo but the food and service seem to be a higher level here.
