As an update, neither Amex nor Hilton emailed me, but I happened to notice today my certificate is in my account. It lists as expiring 1/7/25, so I assume that I got it 2 days ago

Same delay here. I have a charge on 12/20 (statement not yet closed) that put me over the limit but haven't received anything. On another card a card on 12/22 with statement close on 12/27 and haven't received anything on that one either. Will update when I get the email and whether I have to contact amex about it.
for the card with charge on 12/20, expiration date of FNC is 12/28/24. For the other one, expiration is 12/30/24.
