I tested this today at an Admirals Club with the help of a friendly desk agent. After scanning an AA boarding pass with a QF number, AA's system prefills the Qantas status tier but doesn't prefill Oneworld/Qantas Club status, which is what determines lounge access. I assume it's an oversight rather than a feature.
