Hi,
Trying to book flights to Europe for wife and I. Neither one of us has enough has enough points/miles to pay for us both. So she's gonna purchase her flights via her Chase Points, and I'm gonna book the same flights with my UA Miles. Obviously separate reservations and tickets. Once that is all done, is there a way to call and ask UA to combine these onto one reservation? Letting them know we're traveling together and want to be on the same tickets.
OR...is there a way to do this in advance through an agent? I figure I can use my UA miles to book over the phone, but assuming UA agent can't book my with wife via her points.
Any advice appreciated.
