Hoping we can change to earlier RDU flight at LIS. Arrive EWR at 1:10pm. Next RDU flight 2:30pm or 7pm. Earlier flight would mean maybe a 70 min layover. We have Global Entry.

(We have a “married segment” LIS-EWR-RDU that seems hard to change.)

I see RDU flights go out of both Terminal A and C.

I have a Chase Explorer VISA with two lounge passes. What arrival lounge will we have access to? And might there be showers? Would it be airside or landside?

Thank you.
If you want a shower, go to the C-3 lounge in Terminal C near gate C123. It's a regular United Club (no "arrival lounge" available, per se) and is the only UC with showers at EWR.

If your flight is out of Terminal A, take the shuttle from C71 to Terminal A 15 minutes before boarding. The UC at Terminal A is nice, but no showers. I would rank them, in order of preference:

1. C123
2. C74
3. Terminal A

but they are all sufficiently pleasant that unless I need a shower, I go to the one closest to my gate. A nice "problem" to have at EWR after years of a subpar lounge experience.
