In some lounges you can have problems when the flight is more than 3 hours away, but I don't recall anyone having this problem in any of the One World T3 lounges. At worst you get denied entry because of 'capacity controls' for their own customers.
Not if you haven't scanned in with your boarding pass, you will just be a 'no-show' they happen all the time.
Thank you! So the biggest potential pitfall would be whether there's a link between security scanning passes, and the info that's then passed on to the lounge. But you reckon the lounge wouldn't then have any further link to the aircraft boarding system to say I'd been in the lounge with the pass, but hadn't boarded the aircraft?
