There is only one way to match and it's online and I don't know of any way to speed up the process.

Yes, Wyndham's terms provide for gifting status and earned status. Funny thing though, Caesars terms say the status must be "Earned" But I think the real rule that really controls the outcome is:
- Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa. (From Caesar's Rewards website)
Now Wyndham considers gifted status as earned but they have their own special rule that disqualifies promotion gifting:
b) Promotional offers made from time to time by Sponsor in its discretion. Such Gifted Levels will expire in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable promotion, if such terms and conditions specifically address expiration, and if not, in accordance with Section IV(B)(3) below. A Gifted Level obtained pursuant to this Section IV(B)(2)(b) may not be used to status match into the Caesars Rewards program. (From Wyndham Rewards Rules) (Rules go on to address credit card Gifting and other specified gifting methods, distinguishing them from the promotional gifting above)
I could see getting lucky and getting one year of the match but I think the coffin is nailed on getting a second.
