Logically, it is fastest to board those from farthest from the doors first so they don't block others. Of course, Business Class passengers get to board first because of the cabin and there are not as many of them (especially if some of them are in front of the boarding door or have their own boarding door).
Most people who want to board early worry about the bin space. If the FAs are good at keeping PE's bins empty for PE passengers, that relieves that worry.
Departing from U.S. or Europe, they always use only one door and this door is in the middle of two business cabins. That's why I prefer the front business cabin, I don't like so many people walk by me and check me out during the long boarding process.
