First time poster.

Have read the overall guide but could not see whether it is possible to convert points from one Oneworld alliance member to another. Have a business trip coming up and hotel that am staying in (an Omni) is not in the BA scheme but is in the AA scheme. I can register with AA and earn points immediately but only worth doing this if I can then transfer across to my BA account (all my miles to date are with BA and cannot see any independent benefits of joining AA scheme).

Any insights would be appreciated.
