I've booked my parents for a trip in Level PE in March from Boston. The outbound shows 4 rows of 2-2-2, and the inbound shows 3 rows of 2-2-2. I'm going to put them in row 3 for both flights and will have them take pictures and report back.
Excellent sleuthing indeed.
But the fundamental problem is that LEVEL can change the aircraft allocations at any time. These airframes all have roughly the same range I'd assume, so can be re-scheduled whenever necessary. So even though one might think that they are booked in a J seat sold as PE - even booking just a few days in advance - there would be zero recourse if one ends up strapping oneself into a standard PE seat on the day...
