It is the cheapest for a reason. I didn't understand why the FT community recommended 1 night max at Hishinoya Tokyo until my wife and I stayed there. We booked their largest executive room for 2 nights.
Negatives:
-Enclosed vibe due to windows being blocked by building design
-Eerily quiet in the hall ways which contributes to the negative enclosed feeling.
-When we checked in, breakfast and dinner were booked full, and they couldn't accommodate their own guests?? Tea ceremony sold out....Lastly, no advanced contact by their concierge team to perhaps suggest booking breakfast/dinner before hand as their own guests can't be accommodate if full?
-No gym.
-Onsen on top of the roof and open air (neat concept), but overshadowed by the dark motif where you can hardly see anything.
My wife didn't like the enclosed vibe, and mentioned she would never go back again. Felt like you were in an episode of black mirror.
