What happens if I cancel my card before the credit posts? My deadline to cancel with a full fee refund is Jan 11th and I purchased a DL flight for 199.80 after $50 GC (and confirmed it shows up as additional collection) and the posting date is Jan 4th (i.e., 7 days between posting and cancel). Most of the recent data points seem to indicate credit posting 8-9 days after charge. What happens if my account is closed at day 8 or 9, will the credit still post or am I SOL?
