I'm pretty much done with CLEAR after my last two visits being forced to do the Next Gen thing and both times spending ~10 mins getting my picure taken, receiving an error message, repeating several times, waiting for a supervisor, repeating again, and then being escorted to the TSA agent to check my ID anyway.

When I go to cancel online though, it offers me an additional two months for free, and of course I'd be happy to keep it as an option for my next few trips just in case the standard Pre lines are bonkers.

The T&Cs are a bit vague, though. Does this mean by accepting the free months I am also agreeing to renew? Or can I get the extension but still cancel in March?

"By accepting this offer, you agree that your renewal date for your current subscription and any family plan accounts will be extended by two (2) months at no additional charge, and you will retain access to CLEAR’s airport lanes during such period. You will be billed for a new 12-month term upon your new renewal date. Your new renewal date will be updated in your CLEAR account within one week."
